Huang Yuanbai and Huang Yali both trembled, finally snapping out of their shock. Although they possessed some minor cultivation in the Daoist arts, it was feeble at best. While it might have been enough to put on a show before ordinary people, it was child's play in the presence of true experts, which was precisely why they had been so well-behaved since arriving at the Medicine King Sect.

When this man had declared his intent to wipe out the Medicine King Sect, they had dismissed him as a fool. Yet, in the blink of an eye, he had displayed such overwhelming strength that they suddenly felt like the fools themselves.

Ye Mei clenched her fists tightly. This was exactly what the Young Mistress had meant when she said his power was more than sufficient.

Chen Yuyi ignored them entirely, stepping through the city gate with his hands behind his back, strolling as if he were in his own garden.

Ye Mei followed him immediately. Even though she knew her strength was negligible compared to his, she could not just stand by and watch. Perhaps she could provide assistance at a critical moment.

The Huang siblings exchanged a glance, gritted their teeth, and nodded. They did not want to miss such a spectacular scene, and besides, they held the Medicine King Sect in extremely low regard. With their meager skills, they certainly wouldn't dare take action, but they were more than happy to play the part of spectators.

They followed close behind.

Medicine King Sect, Central Great Hall.

Numerous elders and high-ranking sect officials were gathered inside, engaged in heated discussion. Every one of these elders and executives was a peerless master of martial and mystical arts, which was the very foundation of the Medicine King Sect’s transcendental status for hundreds of years.

Today, they had received news that the Medicine King Sect’s Jiangzhong branch had been wiped out. This left them shocked, furious, and utterly disbelieving that anyone would dare to commit such an act against them.

"One person destroyed our branch?" an elderly man with white hair laughed in fury. "Our Jiangzhong branch housed three 'medicine warrior' soldiers, was guarded by hundreds of sect disciples, and was equipped with various modern weapons. It was destroyed by a single person?"

"According to the final clues gathered by the scouts we sent, it was indeed the work of one individual!" a black-robed elder stated.

Everyone present could not help but be moved.

"Which old monster has come out of seclusion? And how could our Medicine King Sect have offended such a figure?"

In the minds of the executives, only those ancient monsters who had been in seclusion for ages could possess such ability. The hall descended into chaotic speculation.

"Have you found the reason?" A young man, roughly twenty years old, sat at the head of the table. He appeared somewhat sickly, yet his demeanor held an air of superiority that suppressed everyone else. As soon as he spoke, the hall fell into absolute silence.

"Young Sect Master, that person razed the branch to the ground, leaving no clues behind. However, the branch had previously sent word that someone had refined a peerless medicinal pill, and they were trying to obtain the formula. I suspect the destruction of the branch is highly related to this matter!" the black-robed elder said, standing up.

"Do you know who that person is?" The Young Sect Master’s tone was listless, yet his voice carried an invisible sharpness that felt grating to the ears.

"The information from the branch regarding his identity was extremely limited. We only know that he is referred to as 'Mr. Chen'!" the black-robed elder replied. He was the Sect’s Elder of Discipline, responsible for all investigative tasks.

"Fine. Search for him with everything we have. I want him alive!" The Young Sect Master raised a hand slightly. A natural, unforced aura of authority emanated from him, revealing a cultivation level that was truly astonishing.

"Young Sect Master, is it necessary to inform the Sect Master about this?" several high-ranking officials asked.

"No need. My father is in seclusion, and my wedding is only a few days away. He will come out on his own by then. There is no need to disturb him," the Young Sect Master said calmly.

Suddenly, a disciple rushed in to report.

"Reporting to the Young Sect Master and all Elders: Someone has broken into our Medicine King Sect. They have killed the gatekeepers and are threatening to destroy our sect. They are currently walking toward the inner grounds!"

"Who is so bold!" Several elders’ hair and beards stood on end. They had never encountered such a thing before. Not only had the intruder killed their guards, but he had also dared to make such wild claims. How could they not be enraged?

The Young Sect Master arched an eyebrow. "Who is the intruder? Have you found out?"

"I do not know. He is a young man. He claims he already destroyed our branch and that the main sect shall not be spared either," the reporting disciple said.

"A young man? What an arrogant brat!" The Young Sect Master flicked his sleeves, a hint of anger appearing on his calm face.

"Young Sect Master, do not be angry. It is hard to imagine a single young man destroying our branch and having the audacity to march on our headquarters. There must be some old monster backing him."

"Indeed, that is very likely. Let us send some men to test him first!"

"Let me go. Since this brat has delivered himself to our doorstep, don't blame us for using our numbers. It is the perfect opportunity to avenge our branch and ensure he never leaves!"

The black-robed elder stood up and sneered. He had been close with Elder Ye, who had been stationed at the branch, and was eager to exact revenge. He waved his hand, and a crowd of martial artists and sorcerers followed him out.

The Huang siblings trailed far behind. Seeing Chen Yuyi kill anyone he encountered with nothing more than a wave of his hand, they were already stunned into silence.

Soon, they watched as a group of people surrounded him. This group was clearly different from the previous minions; the strength of any single person among them would have been enough to dominate a region in the secular world.

Just thinking about it made them feel terrified, so they retreated even further, fearing they might be caught in the crossfire.

"What kind of brat are you? It wasn't enough to destroy our branch; you dare to step into the headquarters of the Medicine King Sect?" The black-robed elder roared the moment he arrived.

"Destroying your branch is one thing; they dared to hurt my people and threaten me. Why would I leave them alive?" Chen Yuyi said calmly, his hands behind his back.

"Good, good, good!" The black-robed elder repeated the word three times. "Since you've delivered yourself to us, don't dream of leaving here alive today!"

With a wave of his hand, his subordinates swarmed forward.

Chen Yuyi said with disdain, "Do you think you can hurt me? You had better tell your Sect Master to get out here and die!"

"You court death! How dare you insult our Sect Master!" The black-robed elder’s expression shifted violently. He pinched a spell gesture, and a torrent of flames erupted from his hands, condensing into a massive fireball that surged toward Chen Yuyi.

"Hmph!" A faint arc appeared at the corner of Chen Yuyi’s mouth. He grabbed at the air, and the fireball was crushed into nothing but scattered sparks.

"What?" Everyone’s expression changed instantly.

Though the black-robed elder was hot-tempered, he was a grandmaster who had mastered the Daoist arts, and his flame-conjuring technique was immensely powerful. To have it broken by Chen Yuyi’s bare hand left him thoroughly shocked.

"Attack together!" Seeing the situation, the black-robed elder shouted.

This person was terrifying; he hadn't blinked once while killing his way here. They had to suppress him together, or if he were allowed to unleash his full capability, all the people present might not be enough to stop him.

Before his voice had even faded, a sky-filling barrage of spells and energy blasts surged toward Chen Yuyi.

Dozens of masters unleashing their arts simultaneously created a force that was truly earth-shattering. It was like a concentrated artillery barrage, instantly blanketing a ten-meter radius around Chen Yuyi. Such an onslaught was enough to level a mountain.

The black-robed elder sneered as he watched, "Heh, I thought you had some real ability, or that there was an old monster backing you. It seems I was overthinking it. I truly don't know how you managed to destroy our branch, but by daring to provoke the Medicine King Sect, your fate is to be smashed to pieces!"

The Huang siblings had retreated far away, watching the scene in stunned silence. They wondered if that man was finished, and felt their own lives were in great danger—after all, they had come with him. Both siblings had the same thought at once: *Run!*

But just as the thought crossed their minds, they saw a white, compass-like object soar into the sky, seemingly absorbing all of the incoming spells into itself...
