Chapter 68: The Woman Warrior in White

Picking Up Attributes in Swallowed Star Braised Pork Rice Bowl 2418 words 2026-03-18 21:46:11

Luo Yuan listened to Luo Feng’s words and simply smiled. He had always been picking up attributes, and he was gathering eight types at once—whether it was spiritual force, genetic energy, domains, laws, or even traces of spatial law. He had to admit, the geniuses in this universe were truly remarkable; those who could grasp spatial law at the star-level were exceedingly rare.

“Um, Third Brother, I’m planning to hold a wedding with Xu Xin half a year from now, when you return to Earth. You must come!” Luo Yuan said, suddenly a bit embarrassed.

“Hey, that’s great! Fourth Brother, congratulations!” Luo Yuan offered his heartfelt blessing, though he couldn’t help but sigh inwardly. He was still alone after all this time.

“Haha, honestly, we made that promise to each other long ago. By the way, Teacher Jiang Fang keeps asking me about you. What did you do to her that year to make her remember you so fondly?” Luo Feng raised his brows playfully at Luo Yuan, teasing him.

“I didn’t do much—just teased her a little when I had nothing better to do. How is she these days?” Luo Yuan took a sip of tea as he asked.

“Teacher Jiang Fang has already broken through to the peak of high-level Wargod. Since you came to this Coiling Dragon Star, she’s been taking care of all the affairs at the Elite Training Camp by herself. Big Brother hasn’t sent a new inspector to replace her,” Luo Feng replied.

“Alright. When you log off, ask Big Brother to give her a few pieces of Wood-Sprout Crystal and one or two drops of Azure Wave Marrow, and tell him it’s from me,” Luo Yuan said.

Luo Feng smiled and nodded, not questioning the reason.

“Oh, right, Third Brother. I just fought a female warrior. She was only a warrior, not a spiritualist. Star-level, first rank, and just a six-star rating. Yet, my Sky-Evading Shuttle couldn’t put up any resistance before her; I was completely at her mercy. She kept giving me chances—she could have killed me nine times, but let me go every time, only ending the fight on the last strike by grazing my brow.” Luo Feng’s eyes showed pain as he spoke, the memory still haunting him like a nightmare.

“Am I really that weak?” Luo Feng gritted his teeth in anguish.

“How interesting. Send me her information—I’d like to meet her myself!” Luo Yuan grinned. A woman who could dominate Luo Feng like this intrigued him greatly.

“But Third Brother, you’re fifth rank star-level and she’s only first rank. Isn’t that a bit unfair?” Luo Feng said, sounding troubled.

“It’s fine. I’ll suppress my strength to first rank,” Luo Yuan replied.

“Alright then.”

...

In the dueling space.

Luo Yuan stood face to face with a female warrior whose figure was both graceful and exquisite.

She was dressed in a white battle suit, clean and crisp. Her expression was cold, her eyes deep and frosty. In each hand, she held a sharp warblade.

“I heard you’re quite formidable, that you just completely overwhelmed my madman of a fourth brother?” Luo Yuan asked with interest, the flying knives circling around him flashing with dazzling blade-light.

“Demon King, I’ve seen your battle videos. You’re very strong. I did want to challenge you, but that lord said my rank was lower than yours, and that someone of your level would be arranged to fight you. I didn’t expect you’d suppress your rank to fight me. I’m looking forward to seeing if you’re truly as strong as they say,” the woman in white answered calmly.

“Is that so? Then, is our fight now also being watched by the lord you mentioned?” Luo Yuan smiled and glanced casually toward the invisible cameras around.

A burly man in a meditation chamber coughed a few times as he watched a giant screen.

“Go ahead—use your strongest moves. If you have domains or laws, use them all. I won’t be going easy on you,” Luo Yuan said with a grin, hovering in mid-air.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The moment Luo Yuan finished speaking, over a dozen flying knives spun around him, shooting toward the female warrior like beams of light—so fast that even a star-level warrior could barely perceive them, having to rely on intuition.

The woman in white, wielding a blade in each hand, deftly blocked each of the dozen flying knives, her moves ethereal and precise. But amidst the rapid clash, she seemed to teleport to Luo Yuan’s side, her blade slipping through the illusion of flying knives to slash at his throat.

Unfortunately, what she struck was another illusion. Luo Yuan darted through the dueling space at incredible speed, leaving behind image after image of himself. In the blink of an eye, the entire space was filled with his afterimages.

“So that’s why you’re so strong—you’ve mastered a sevenfold wind domain and a trace of the law of wind. To have such command at first rank star-level… you truly are a genius.”

Luo Yuan’s voice echoed from every direction, booming and relentless, carrying a powerful mental pressure that hammered at the woman’s mind, making her head throb with pain, but she clenched her teeth and endured.

“Imprison!”

Luo Yuan uttered a word that seemed to shake the void. Invisible ripples spread out, and the world seemed to lose its color. The female warrior’s body went stiff; she could not move, her eyes filling with terror and despair.

“It’s a spatial domain no less than fivefold, carrying traces of spatial law!” the burly man in the meditation chamber exclaimed, eyes glued to the screen. Such a genius must be brought into his Virtual Universe Corporation.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

What followed was a brutal, merciless barrage of flying knives upon the woman in white. Luo Yuan, having finally encountered a warrior with such a high-level wind domain and law, had no intention of letting her go. He would not stop until he had wrung her dry of every secret.

No one knew how much time passed before Luo Yuan and the woman in white returned from the dueling space. At first, she had resisted fiercely, but eventually, unable to endure, she conceded defeat—much to Luo Yuan’s slight regret.

Back in the rest hall of the Killing Field, Hong and Thunder God had also returned, chatting with Luo Feng.

“Third Brother, that woman in white is impressive, isn’t she? Even Second Brother and I lost to her,” Luo Feng said, noticing Luo Yuan’s less than pleased expression.

“Yes, she’s formidable—but not very good at taking a beating,” Luo Yuan replied with a smile.

The three exchanged confused looks.

“Hmm?” Out of the corner of his eye, Luo Yuan caught sight of a staff member from the Killing Field approaching them.

“Huh?” Thunder God looked around; only the four of them were present.

“Seems they’re looking for us,” Hong murmured.

The staff member, a lean man with a sharp nose, smiled politely. “Gentlemen, a master of a meditation chamber upstairs has requested your presence.”

“A meditation chamber master?” Luo Feng was startled, exchanging glances with Hong and Thunder God.

The hall was a place for many specially cultivated elites to rest and chat. Meditation chambers, on the other hand, were highly private rooms, often leased long-term by powerful individuals—most of whom were at least universe-level, except for a few wealthy exceptions.

“Lead the way,” Luo Yuan said as he, Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder God stood up.
