The fourth layer was guarded by 1,000 ‘Flying Hounds,’ strange and ferocious cosmic beasts. The fifth layer hosted 100 mechanical puppets. The sixth layer housed 10 colossal star beasts called ‘Cang.’
Using the fifth level of his newly mastered Shadow Divine Weapon, “Spatial Severing,” combined with his chaotic domain, Luo Yuan broke through these three levels in rapid succession. At last, he arrived at the seventh and final level of the seventh trial tower. Checking his wrist screen, he found he was the sole challenger left.
“The seventh level is much more troublesome than the sixth,” Luo Yuan murmured, brow furrowing. As a mentalist, he had an advantage in evading attacks through rapid movement, using hit-and-run tactics for favorable positioning. But when besieged by overwhelming numbers, even he struggled.
Endless desert stretched before him.
On the distant green plain, a massive spherical hive of 1,200 meters in diameter lay, its surface pitted and uneven, oozing toxic liquid and faintly exuding poisonous gas.
A height of 1,200 meters equated to about four hundred stories—a towering hive the size of a skyscraper. Suddenly, from every pit on the hive’s surface emerged countless blue, slimy, triangular-headed insectoid creatures with two antennae, large compound eyes, compact bodies, two hind legs supporting their stance, and four front limbs resembling battle blades. Their backs bore two translucent wings.
Each pit measured roughly ten meters across, and almost instantly, thousands upon thousands of these ‘Blue Mantis’ insectoids flooded out from the hive surface!

Three consecutive waves unleashed about a million of these creatures, all uniform in appearance.
Luo Yuan stood in the void, gazing at the overwhelming swarm descending from both ground and sky, his brow tightening.
“The hive has released all its reserves at once. The next wave won’t come for another twenty minutes, but then it’ll probably be tens of millions, maybe even hundreds of millions of insectoid warriors.”
“No choice. Time to use the ultimate move!”

With a thought, the cosmic crystals he had stored in his spatial ring flared into a furious blaze. Centered on him, an invisible ripple spread outward. His chaotic world power rapidly infiltrated this space, seizing full dominion within a few breaths.
“Insectoids, perish!”

Luo Yuan unleashed the power of world annihilation.
The seventh layer’s space was instantly stripped bare, turning monochrome. Space trembled violently, and the insectoid legions were crushed to dust under the overwhelming force. Even the insectoid queen could not escape destruction.

The space itself began to rupture, revealing terrifying spatial turbulence at its edges—chaotic shards of broken space and overlapping spatial storms surged forth.
