Chapter Fifty-Seven: Breaking Through
"This ship can kill a seventh or eighth-level Stellar warrior?" Luo Yuan was somewhat astonished.
During his time in the virtual space, he had learned a great deal. A Cosmic warrior could go toe-to-toe with an entire interstellar fleet! A seventh or eighth-level Stellar rank was hundreds of times stronger than a first-level, nearly approaching the Cosmic level. Such individuals were supreme masters—even a whole fleet would struggle to kill one, let alone just a single adventure ship.
Babata continued, "In the Black Dragon Mountain territory, among more than eight thousand star systems and countless planets, this Black Dragon Mountain X81 model is considered a top-tier adventure ship. Usually, only Cosmic-level experts or those with powerful backgrounds can afford to buy one. Since even Cosmic-level warriors use this kind of adventure ship, it's not strange that the standard weapons have a chance to kill a seventh or eighth-level Stellar warrior, is it? Besides, I only said it has a chance—no powerful warrior would foolishly put themselves in danger!
This X81 model is made with Uyi metal; even a Cosmic-level expert would have to expend considerable effort to destroy it. Generally, Cosmic-level warriors ride ships of this class. Anything more expensive, even they would hesitate to pay for."
Hearing this, Luo Yuan gazed at the pitch-black disc-shaped ship, a look of delight on his face. His memories of this world were a bit hazy; after all, who would remember every word of a story spanning millions of characters?
"Babata, can you control the Black Dragon ship's operating system?" Luo Yuan asked, voicing his greatest curiosity at the moment.
"Well, controlling this ship is quite difficult," Babata replied. "On Earth, all the nations fought and died trying to get inside this X81 adventure ship, but they couldn't even get through the airlock.
Moreover, once the hatch is opened, the 'entry corridor' is a laser passage! The lasers in that corridor could easily kill a fifth or sixth-level Planetary warrior. Even if Earth's representatives at first or second-level Planetary wore Black God armor to weaken the attack, they'd still die. Only Hong and Thunder God could manage, thanks to their Black God armor."
"Then what should we do?" Luo Yuan asked anxiously.
"Don't worry, I have a way. The laser passage isn't as terrifying as it seems," Babata assured him. "All you need to do is dash through the passage and open the airlock. To lift the locked door requires the strength of a third or fourth-level Stellar warrior. But I've placed a Mighty Lever in your wrist crystal core—didn't expect it would come in handy now. Just use your mind force to control it."
"Alright!" Luo Yuan retrieved the axe-like Mighty Lever from his crystal core, raising an eyebrow in surprise. That this tool could rival the strength of a third or fourth-level Stellar warrior was truly incredible.
Stepping through the hatch, Luo Yuan focused his mind force on the axe-like tool, twenty strands of tenacious energy coiling around it.
"Go!" Luo Yuan commanded mentally.
Whoosh!
The Mighty Lever turned into a streak of light, skimming the ground in an S-curve, swiftly dodging the laser attacks, moving like lightning.
Sss!
The ultra-thin blade of the axe wedged itself into the tiny gap between the Uyi airlock and the corridor floor.
A strange sound emanated from the tool, and Luo Yuan watched in amazement as the Uyi airlock was slowly forced open! The axe blade, originally razor-thin, split into two layers, with the upper layer pushing ever higher, prying the entire airlock open. Luo Yuan found the sight almost unbelievable.
"Luo Yuan, hurry and get inside!" urged Babata.
"Right!" Luo Yuan lunged forward, keeping close to the ground as he charged in, the arc blade spinning rapidly above him.
Zing! Zing! Zing!
Dazzling laser beams shot instantly at the arc blade and Luo Yuan. Under Luo Yuan's control, the arc blade seemed to teleport to different positions, forcing the passage sensors to recalibrate their targets. More lasers came alive, firing at the blade's afterimages, and two beams aimed directly for Luo Yuan himself.
In that split second...
Luo Yuan used his concept-level evasion technique, moving unpredictably and driving himself forward with all his might.
Swish!
Luo Yuan slipped under the raised airlock, skimming the ground and into the ship's interior.
"I made it! Damn, that was close; nearly got killed," Luo Yuan muttered, his heart still pounding furiously.
With a flash, the Mighty Lever vanished, and the airlock slammed back down onto the metal floor with a resounding boom.
"I've put away the Mighty Lever for you," Babata said.
Luo Yuan looked around; he was now standing in a wide, straight corridor.
"Haha, Luo Yuan, you've entered the Black Dragon Mountain X81 ship. Don't worry, you're safe now," Babata reassured him. "Quick, head to the command room and insert the signal device into the ship's AI interface. Only by connecting to the ship's AI can I attempt to break through its defenses and seize control."
"Got it." Luo Yuan nodded.
Suddenly, a device resembling a laptop memory card appeared before him; Luo Yuan reached out and grabbed it.
"Insert the golden end into the interface. Let's go to the command room," Babata instructed.
"Lead the way," Luo Yuan replied mentally.
"To the left!"
Guided by Babata, Luo Yuan moved swiftly through the Black Dragon ship, ascending stairs to the upper passage.
"Luo Yuan, three metal robots are rushing toward you from behind," Babata suddenly warned.
"Damn!" Luo Yuan had no time for chatter. He unleashed all his power, bolstered by immense psychic force, with thunder and light attributes infusing his gene energy. He shot into the Black Dragon Mountain X81's command room at lightning speed, trailed by crackling electricity. The three robots halted as soon as they saw him enter.
Creak—
As Luo Yuan opened the door, a gentle air current swept through the spacious, luxurious command room. A breeze drifted naturally across the space, which was brightly lit.
In the central seat sat a military officer, three black-uniformed guards standing behind him. The presence of others in the command room gave Luo Yuan a start.
A gust of wind blew.
The officer on the chair, as if made of dust, instantly crumbled to powder—his uniform disintegrating alongside him. The entire person turned to a pile of dust, cascading down from the seat. The three guards behind him shuddered as the breeze touched their black uniforms, which fragmented and fell away in pieces, scraps of fabric still clinging to their bodies.
"Tsk, tsk. Luo Yuan, you've struck gold. That officer seated there was a significant figure when alive. As for those three guards, they're not human—they're special products called 'Silverflow Guards,'" Babata exclaimed in awe. "The primary material is Silverflow metal, far more precious than Uyi metal, with an integrated AI system. In daily life, they're indistinguishable from real people—they can talk, handle tasks, and so on.
Moreover, thanks to their liquid metal bodies, they can dissipate any impact with ease—even a strongman's punch would be effortlessly absorbed. They're extraordinary bodyguards!"
