Chapter Fifty-Six: The X81 Model Spaceship
"Luo Feng, did you go to that place on Mist Island this time?" Luo Yuan asked.
"Yes." Luo Feng nodded firmly. In the crystal core of his wristwatch, Babata’s true form was munching on fruit.
"This is for you. Whenever you’re free, we can meet in virtual space to discuss secret techniques." Luo Yuan said, handing the Sky-Evasion Shuttle to Luo Feng.
"What’s this?" Luo Feng asked in surprise.
"This is the Sky-Evasion Shuttle, a weapon that surpasses the Warlord level. You can use it from now on; I have the Arc Blade Disk." Luo Yuan smiled.
"Thank you very much, Brother Luo Yuan." Luo Feng nodded earnestly.
"Luo Feng, from now on I should call you Inspector Luo. You’re nearing a breakthrough to planetary-level Spirit Master, aren’t you? Keep at it!" Luo Yuan encouraged him.
...
A few days later, Luo Yuan prepared to make a trip to the ruins of Civilization No. 12. There, a Black Dragon fighter capable of interstellar travel awaited him; he planned to visit other star systems. With just over two years left, the Golden Horned Beast would soon hatch. His time was running short.
At the global headquarters of the Extreme Martial Arts Gym, the entrance to the mysterious giant spaceship building, Luo Yuan walked out accompanied by a white man in a red robe.
"Mr. Luo Yuan," the red-robed man smiled, "Look over there, that prehistoric-class intelligent fighter is yours."
"Oh?"
Luo Yuan turned his head. On a nearby clearing, a dark golden, triangular fighter rested. Its body was elegantly curved, truly a work of art. The ship was about one hundred meters long and thirty meters wide, radiating a sense of solid strength.
"Now I’m a man with my own private aircraft!" Luo Yuan felt a surge of pride.
"Mr. Luo Yuan, since you haven’t used this intelligent fighter before, there will be an initial system authentication process," the red-robed man said with a smile. "Please follow me."
They approached the fighter.
A dreamy blue light enveloped Luo Yuan, and with a soft "swish—" the hatch swiftly opened, barely making a sound.
"Mr. Luo Yuan, only you may enter now; I cannot go inside," the red-robed man said, his eyes filled with envy. "Once inside, the authentication will be handled by the intelligent system. All you need to do is stay in the cabin. Soon you’ll understand everything."
Luo Yuan nodded.
He stepped inside. The seats were luxuriously comfortable, sitting here was pure enjoyment.
Swish!
The hatch closed. Lights and components throughout the intelligent fighter lit up, creating an almost dreamlike atmosphere. An electronic voice sounded, "Hello, master. I will now demonstrate the operation of this prehistoric-class intelligent fighter." With that, a virtual projection appeared ahead.
The projection displayed a series of clear, illustrated screens, detailing the fighter’s operating procedures.
"Beep!"
A red beam shot toward Luo Yuan’s left wrist communicator, linking it to the fighter and installing the remote control system.
Moments later—
"It really is simple; everything is automated, no need to worry about anything." Luo Yuan smiled.
"I’ll name you… Number Six," Luo Yuan said casually. He liked the number six.
"Yes, master," the electronic voice replied.
"Now, set out for the ruins of Civilization No. 12. Activate exterior simulation!" Luo Yuan commanded.
"Yes, master!"
The prehistoric-class intelligent fighter lifted off and sped toward the ruins of Civilization No. 12.
Rumble—
Above the sea at the location of the ruins, the silhouette of Luo Yuan’s fighter suddenly appeared, breaking the sound barrier. Luo Yuan felt no discomfort; he donned his Black God suit, then slipped on the dark golden SSS-class combat suit and equipped himself with a full set of SSS-grade gear, including twenty SSS-class flying knives.
He flew through the air, heading down toward the sea.
...
The somewhat murky waters rippled gently, stretching endlessly.
A streak of light plunged into the sea, descending rapidly!
"Luo Yuan, the distance from the surface to the seabed is about 5,100 meters. The ruins of Civilization No. 12 lie 3,300 meters below the seabed," said Little Ba, the intelligent assistant.
With Little Ba navigating, Luo Yuan’s course remained precise despite the surrounding waters.
Deep within the ocean, countless sea monsters lived. Although many could invade inland along rivers, only a small fraction actually did—there were simply too many sea monsters in the ocean.
As Luo Yuan descended, he saw many of them.
"Hmph!"
Luo Yuan’s spirit force pulsed, and within a hundred meters, every sea monster instantly perished, blood coloring the water around him.
"The seabed!" Luo Yuan stepped onto the ocean floor, which undulated like mountain ranges.
"Three thousand three hundred meters below," he said.
Luo Yuan plunged downward, piercing the rocky seabed and continuing to descend.
"Luo Yuan, you’ve reached your destination," Little Ba announced.
Luo Yuan slowed.
"My god, this battleship is huge." Luo Yuan spread his mental force, scanning a hundred thousand meters around him. In his mind, a rough model formed—a gigantic battleship.
He quickly broke through the rocks and entered through a damaged opening in the wreckage, advancing deeper inside.
Soon, in a secret, enormous chamber, Luo Yuan discovered a flying saucer-shaped vessel about a hundred meters in diameter. The entire ship was black, and despite countless millennia underground, it showed little corrosion. On its hull was the mark of a winged dragon.
"Little Ba, connect to your main body, Babata. I need his help!" Luo Yuan commanded his wristwatch’s crystal core.
"Received. Connecting to Babata’s main body…"
"Connection complete!"
"Hey, Luo Yuan, you finally came to see me. What’s the matter this time?" Babata asked, sipping red wine in virtual space, an alien beauty massaging his legs.
"I found a spaceship in the ruins of No. 12. Can you help me crack it open?" Luo Yuan asked eagerly.
"Let me take a look," Babata replied. From Luo Yuan’s wristwatch crystal core, countless red beams swept toward the ship.
"Haha, this is actually a Black Dragon Mountain—X81 model ship. Luo Yuan, you’re in luck! The X81 is a renowned adventure vessel of the Black Dragon Mountain Empire. It costs far more than a mothership, and its standard weapons can even hope to kill a seventh or eighth tier star-level being!" Babata exclaimed in delight.
