In less than half an hour, Suya had opened all fifteen of Chi Fei’s boxes.

One had to admit, this guy was truly blessed by fortune.

Despite today’s unusually high monster spawn rate, only three monsters appeared from his fifteen boxes—a mere 20% spawn rate. Compared to Suya’s fourteen boxes, each yielding a monster for a full 100% spawn rate, Chi Fei was incredibly lucky.

“Master, can I have the Crafting Table Blueprint Fragments?” Suya asked proactively, requesting the fragments from Chi Fei, then awkwardly added, “I know you don’t like overly materialistic people.”

Chi Fei rolled his eyes at her, then moved over to the pile of supplies and started packing his backpack.

He took all the desserts and bottled water, then zipped up his bag and stood up, saying casually, “The rest are yours.”

“All mine?” Suya repeated in disbelief before checking the supplies.

Vehicle upgrade cards, crafting table blueprint fragments, drinks, instant food, fresh vegetables—he hadn’t taken any of these, leaving them all to her.

“Master, after tomorrow, boxes might stop yielding food. Can you not be so reckless?” Suya said as she forced compressed biscuits and instant noodles into Chi Fei’s backpack. “I’m really afraid you’ll starve.”

Chi Fei smirked but didn’t refuse, silently allowing her to stuff items into his bag.

Suya packed the rest of the supplies into her own backpack.

She never cared much for formalities.

After organizing the supplies, Chi Fei suddenly produced a large folding table from somewhere, along with a floral tablecloth. He carefully spread the cloth over the table, then took out a vase, inserted some flowers, and placed it on the side as decoration.

Suya was exhausted just watching this elaborate setup.

“Master, you’re quite particular about meals. Why not light a candle and have a romantic dinner?”

“Do you even understand? This is called style.”

Suya didn’t understand Chi Fei’s style; she only knew she was hungry to death.

Once the table was finally set, Suya pulled out a chair and sat down, about to open a pack of spicy strips as a reward for herself, but was cut down by a sharp look from Chi Fei.

“No junk food at my table,” he said flatly.

Suya was speechless.

Fine, the table was his, so he had the right.

She quietly put the spicy strips away and instead pulled out a cup of instant noodles.

“Nope, not allowed,” Chi Fei said again.

Suya was at a loss.

Fine, she wouldn’t eat. Surely she could at least drink something.

Thinking this, she took out a bottle of iced black tea.

“No drinking either.”

Suya blinked in confusion.

“Master, do you have any taste? Iced black tea, you know, the premium kind!”

“No means no.”

“Master, are you trying to starve me?”

Suya felt utterly exasperated—as if she were a child once again, forbidden by her parents from eating or drinking whatever she pleased.

Chi Fei heard her and thought for a moment, then took out a box of fresh blueberry cake and pushed it toward her.

He wanted her to share dessert with him.

“Thanks, Master. You like sweets, so have some more. I want something warm for dinner.”

She returned the blueberry cake to him and pulled out the game manual, opening a private chat with “Everyday Good Taste.”

[Invincible Tyrannosaurus War God: Everyday, Everyday, sending fresh cabbage ×1, fresh romaine lettuce ×1, fresh baby bamboo shoots ×1, fresh eggplant ×1.]

[Invincible Tyrannosaurus War God: No basic materials anymore, just a meal. The kid’s starving.]

[Invincible Tyrannosaurus War God: Just something warm, not picky. Waiting online, it’s urgent!!!]

A reply came quickly.

[Everyday Good Taste: Got it!]

[Everyday Good Taste: I’m just about to start dinner.]

[“Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup ×1” exchanged for “fresh cabbage ×1, fresh romaine lettuce ×1, fresh baby bamboo shoots ×1, fresh eggplant ×1”]

The trade completed swiftly, and a steaming bowl of duck blood vermicelli soup appeared in Suya’s hands.

Made by simmering a whole duck, the soup’s silky blood, tender gizzards, smooth intestines, soft liver, and fresh broth, combined with chewy vermicelli, offered an unforgettable taste with every bite.

The aroma whetted Suya’s appetite as she lifted the lid and quickly devoured it.

Across from her, Chi Fei leisurely ate the blueberry cake, savoring bite after bite.

Before long, both had finished their meals.

Chi Fei then took out a pack of tissues, elegantly wiped his mouth, and handed a sheet to Suya.

She gratefully accepted it, sincerely thanking him, “Thank you, Master.”

She really needed those tissues.

Despite being a college student who loved hoarding cheap packs of tissues in real life, she hadn’t received a single pack in the game after several days.

That meant she had to wipe her mouth with her hand after every meal, washing it off with bottled water afterward.

Inconvenient, very inconvenient.

Seeing Chi Fei’s tissues, Suya immediately asked, “Master, do you have extra tissues? I’ll trade with you.”

Chi Fei looked puzzled.

“You don’t even have tissues?”

“Nope, I really don’t!”

Chi Fei was speechless for three seconds, then grabbed his backpack and pulled out two items.

One was a pack of tissues, apparently containing eight packs of three hundred sheets each.

The other was a blueprint.

“Tissues or tissue blueprint—take your pick. I’ll give them to you,” Chi Fei said with a casual swagger.

Suya smiled faintly. “Only kids make choices. I want both! Master, it’s better to give a man both the fish and the fishing rod.”

Her reasoning convinced Chi Fei, who handed over both items.

Suya packed them carefully and offered her sincere thanks.

“All right, the highway meeting time is almost over. Goodbye.”

Chi Fei packed his things and started up his vehicle to continue on.

Suya waved goodbye as he left.

Once he was out of sight, Suya took out the Nightmare Hotel’s infinite teleport card left by Lady Owl, clicked “Confirm Teleport,” and the mist on the right side of the highway immediately cleared, revealing the Nightmare Hotel.

She pushed open the door and stepped inside.

Lady Owl was sitting at the front desk, watching a TV drama.

“Lady Owl, I’m here.”

“Mm, the kid is in Room 103. Just go straight there.”

After their brief exchange, Suya was about to go find the child when the hotel door opened again.

She turned around and saw Chi Fei walk in.

Suya was speechless.

Chi Fei was speechless.

They had said goodbye just a minute ago, and now here they were again.

Truly a fateful encounter.
