Suya drew closer and realized it was a beautiful young woman. Dressed in a red dress, her hair cascading in large waves, she exuded charm and sensuality, like a vibrant red rose in full bloom. Her deep eyes seemed to hold countless stories, inviting curiosity and a desire to know more.

“Hello, beautiful lady!” Suya greeted warmly, extending her hand but keeping a cautious distance—she understood the importance of being wary.

Hearing her voice, the woman in red also reached out her hand. “Hello, sweet little sister~”

At that moment, their nicknames appeared in the air.

[Nickname: Cold Night Rose]
[ID: 152119970620]
[Health: 120]

After exchanging greetings, Suya didn’t linger. She pushed her small electric scooter forward at a leisurely pace. She had tested it before—walking the scooter didn’t add mileage or reduce luck points.

But not long after moving on, a commotion arose behind her.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A tractor was driving up the road.

“Looks like there are quite a few players traveling this highway intersection today,” she mused, not turning back.

Yet a discordant voice came from behind.

“Little girl, traveling alone? Want uncle to give you a ride?”

The tone was suggestive, causing Suya to frown. She turned around, trying to figure out the situation.

Just as she looked back, she saw “Cold Night Rose” suddenly draw a gun from somewhere and shoot the approaching player in the head.

A shot rang out, and silence fell.

Suya was silent too.

From the graceful name to the elegant appearance, who would have guessed she was such a ruthless shooter?

Suya suspected that if she hadn’t greeted the woman first, she might have been shot as well.

“Not worth the trouble,” she muttered, pushing her scooter quickly away from the scene.

— Fifteen minutes later —

The figure of “Cold Night Rose” had vanished from the highway behind her, so Suya finally dared to stop and rest.

But before long, a familiar rumble returned.

Chi Fei’s radiant purple supercar came to a smooth stop beside her.

The passenger window rolled down slowly, and Suya waved cheerfully.

“What a coincidence, young master—we meet again.”

“Not a coincidence. I wanted to see you, so we met,” Chi Fei replied.

Chi Fei spoke earnestly, his eyes sparkling like stars.

But in the next moment, Suya responded with exaggerated enthusiasm, “Wow~ Young master~ So romantic~”

Chi Fei was speechless.

He admitted he regretted it for a second, but refusing a girl would be unchivalrous, so he let Suya get into the car.

Settling into the passenger seat, Suya, experienced in hitching rides, fastened her seatbelt promptly.

An awkward silence filled the car.

Finally, Chi Fei broke it, “No hell jokes today?”

“Young master, do you know what’s invigorating?” Suya suddenly asked.

Chi Fei replied skeptically, “Medicated oil?”

Suya said, “A cross.”

Chi Fei was speechless again.

He started the car in silence and didn’t speak for a full ten minutes.

But after ten minutes, he couldn’t hold back.

“Don’t you think my car is different from last time?”

He pointed at the central control screen.

The screen was lit and playing music.

Suya clearly remembered that last time, this feature wasn’t there.

Chi Fei must have upgraded the vehicle or equipped a special item to enable it.

She answered honestly, “It can play music now.”

Chi Fei’s pride swelled, and his tone became unusually kind.

“Any favorite singers? Jay Chou? Jeff Chang? Steve Chou? JJ Lin? Vae? Silence? Joker Xue?”

Suya thought for a moment and replied, “Phoenix Legend.”

Chi Fei was silent for three seconds but didn’t give up trying to chat.

Gathering his words, he asked again, “Any favorite songs?”

Suya realized he wanted to discuss music.

He must really like music—she had noticed when he stayed up late in the garden listening to music under the moonlight.

But Suya wasn’t a music enthusiast; to put it another way, her taste differed from his.

She never compromised her own preferences for others, so she honestly replied, “There are many—varied and strange.”

Chi Fei said, “Sing one for me.”

Suya asked, “Are you sure, young master?”

Chi Fei nodded seriously. “Yes.”

With his consent, Suya had no reason to hold back.

Clearing her throat and gathering her emotions, she began to sing.

“If someday I fall in love with your wife~ If your wife falls for me too~ Brother, please don’t cry out loud~ I will never let her suffer~”

Chi Fei was speechless.

“Change the song,” he said.

Suya sang, “Pain~ Pain~ It’s been hurting me for over twenty years~”

“That’s enough, shut up!!!” Chi Fei finally lost patience and silenced her.

He had to admit, he’d picked the wrong person. Suya had no musical talent whatsoever.

Listening to her sing was torture; though she didn’t go off-key or change lyrics, her taste was unbearable.

Suya obediently closed her little mouth.

She was someone who listened well.

— Two hours later —

Six hundred kilometers completed; the time was 6:30 p.m.

Chi Fei pulled the car over and said, “I need to eat now.”

“I’ll eat too,” Suya replied.

She was a bit hungry and got out to have dinner.

They both stepped out, and Chi Fei opened the trunk to get something.

While he rummaged, Suya noticed it was packed full of boxes.

She recalled delivering the plague antidote to Chi Fei earlier; he had said he hadn’t opened any boxes yesterday.

She had thought it was just politeness, but apparently, he really hadn’t opened them!

Judging by the quantity, it wasn’t just yesterday—probably the day before as well.

Curious, Suya asked, “Young master, don’t you like opening boxes?”

Chi Fei replied, “I don’t want to risk monsters coming out. Those nightmare creatures are disgusting.”

So he disliked those nightmare monsters so much that he preferred to leave the boxes unopened rather than risk it.

Suya asked, “Then wouldn’t you run out of supplies?”

Chi Fei said, “The first box I open every day is guaranteed monster-free.”

This rule was probably linked to some identity he had; Suya didn’t press further but offered, “Young master, how about I open the boxes for you? You can share some supplies with me.”

“Okay,” Chi Fei agreed.

Excited by the deal, Suya didn’t even bother to eat dinner. She moved all Chi Fei’s boxes onto the road and pulled out her five-star holy hammer to start opening them.
