The group hurried through the corridor and arrived at a place similar to the previous hall. The difference was that this hall had only one wide-open door in front, with walls on both sides. The corridor we came through also had a passage entrance. Suddenly, several figures burst out from that passage, and we quickly saw that five people had emerged: three warriors, one mage, and one archer. Leading them was a warrior whose stature was a head taller than mine, wearing a silver helmet that obscured his features. His entire body was clad in exquisitely crafted, luxurious equipment—undoubtedly a mix of purple and green gear.

Moreover, this warrior wielded two weapons, marking him as a full-attack warrior. He fought with two single-handed weapons, relying on overwhelming strength to defeat enemies. Such a warrior possessed terrifying attack power, but because full-attack warriors focused solely on offense, their defense was noticeably weaker than that of ordinary warriors.

The weapons in his hands were striking: his left held a blade with a fiery red body inscribed with lines of strange characters, while his right wielded a single-handed longsword with an earthy yellow blade and a brown hilt, devoid of any decoration.

My keen gaze analyzed him: level 45, berserker class, equipment—Magistrate’s Wrath Armor (silver gear), Earth Sword (green gear), accessory—Observer’s Ring (purple gear), others unknown.

Silver armor, green weapon, purple ring—these items granted him absolute attack power, a certain level of defense, and even magical resistance. Such an opponent would not be easily defeated.

The five players whispered among themselves, then quickly spread out and charged toward us with unmistakable hostility. “Everyone, be careful!” I shouted, and behind me came a roar. A two-meter-tall figure instantly rose at my back, extending its arms and beating its chest, unleashing a wolfish howl.

The Gale Wolf King had now evolved into a new summoned beast, resembling a werewolf clad in armor.

Name: Sonic Werewolf.
Type: Animal.
Race: Beastfolk.
Quality: Advanced.
Evolution: No (final form).
Health: 4500 points.
Attack: 2500 points.
Defense: 1800 points.

Skills:
Tailwind Movement (Passive): Sonic Werewolf senses the power of wind to boost its movement speed. If wind magic is released nearby, it gains additional speed for a set duration.
Crescent Spin: Accumulates energy in both hands and releases crescent-shaped shockwaves to attack, with a 10% chance to inflict bleeding status for 10 seconds. Charge time 2 seconds, cooldown 3 seconds.
Roaring Cannon: Emits a powerful ultrasonic roar, damaging and stunning the closest enemy. Cooldown 10 seconds.
Sonic Fist: Attacks the enemy with lightning-fast punches.
Victory Fist: Delivers a devastating blow, dealing heavy physical damage and slowing the target. If the target’s health is below 20%, there is a chance for a fatal strike. Cooldown 120 seconds.
Caesar Claw: Swings both sharp claws to shred enemies. Deals extra damage to enemies below 50% health; the lower the enemy’s health, the greater the damage. Cooldown 1 second.

Description: To pursue absolute fighting power, it walks upright and runs at high speed, entering sonic states for rapid movement. Its armor and gauntlets, made of special steel, greatly enhance attack and defense.

It seemed my first summoned beast had reached its ultimate evolution. As I finished reading its profile, the five players quickly approached us. But at that moment, a wall between us suddenly exploded. The enormous hall was filled with deafening roars, and a colossal figure appeared. The walls echoed with thunderous crashes as one giant monster after another emerged.

Each one was a three-meter-tall ogre. Unlike the ones we'd encountered before, these ogres carried various weapons and were clad in complete sets of armor. Just their appearance made them seem far stronger than previous foes.

Ogre Warrior, Level 45, Elite Beast.
Description: Powerful warriors of the ogre race, their armor allows them to withstand any attack. However, their minds remain simple, relying solely on brute force in battle.

One after another, ogres poured out from the walls until the massive hall was filled with nearly a hundred ogre warriors. Everyone gasped in shock; nearly a hundred elite beasts gathered was no laughing matter.

I brandished my staff with full force, driving an ogre warrior back, then smashed down with a heavy blow, landing squarely on another ogre. The ogre counterattacked, but I dodged backward and launched a “Cloud Assault,” striking the ogre’s hideous face. Energy exploded, flesh and blood flew everywhere, and its face was blown to pieces.

With a tragic howl, the ogre staggered back two steps. I rushed forward with a flurry of moves, finishing it off.

Sonic Werewolf, silent as ever, stood at my left. Blinding light flashed from its claws, and seven or eight blue crescent-shaped blades flew out. With so many enemies packed together, there was no need to aim; a sweep of light blades struck several ogres, and Sonic Werewolf immediately targeted one, pummeling it with its fists until the ogre collapsed with agonized wails.

Xiaoxi fired arrow after arrow from her longbow, sparks flying off the ogres’ armor. The ogre warriors ignored her attacks, roaring as they charged. But awaiting them were mines scattered across the ground; three ogres were instantly blasted off their feet. Ye Shuang and Feng Xiaoyue stepped forward to block the incoming ogres, taking several hits and losing health rapidly. After merging, Xiao Ai was formidable, swinging her silver spear to topple ogres attacking her, while Xiaoxi finished them off. Their coordination was impeccable.

Despite their numbers, the ogres could only attack a handful at a time, as we formed a circular formation. Those at the rear could only howl helplessly, unable to reach us. Amaterasu jumped into the monster horde, slashing away. One ogre after another fell, their armor offering little protection against Amaterasu’s onslaught.

On the other side, the five players formed their own circle, desperately fending off attacks and protecting their lone mage in the center. The mage maintained a high output, continually casting spells. The full-attack warrior watched Amaterasu move freely in the monster swarm, slaughtering ogres with ease, and leapt in himself. His twin weapons flashed as ogre after ogre fell before him. He laughed wildly as he fought, “Fantastic! Damn, this is fantastic!”

Distracted for a moment, I was struck hard by an ogre’s spiked club. The blow dealt 1300 points of damage and sent me flying over the heads of my companions, crashing seven or eight meters away.

“Brother!” Longxin cried out in alarm.

I quickly got up, activated "Limitless Transformation," and my staff instantly extended to match the length of the hall. I swept it at the ogres’ ankles, sending them all sprawling. Even the player who had been darting about, slaughtering monsters like chopping vegetables, was knocked down, along with his companions—though, since teammates can't harm each other in party mode, my own group was spared.

The player sprang up with a nimble flip, then turned to glare at me. From within his helmet, his eyes radiated a terrifying light.

“Sorry, it wasn’t intentional,” I quickly apologized, but he seemed unwilling to forgive. With a fierce shout, the earth sword in his right hand surged with brown energy, forming an energy ball that he hurled at me. I dodged in haste. The energy ball exploded between two ogres, blasting them to pieces, while several more nearby were injured.

At the same time, the player charged toward me, black energy swirling around him. Ogres in his path were sent flying by the dark aura. One ogre standing before him was struck with a thunderous impact, launched far away, its body shattered to bits.

“Hey, it was just a misunderstanding, no need to take it so seriously!” I called out, but he seemed determined to take revenge, ignoring me entirely as he barreled forward.
