Chapter 21: Not Going to School? Su Yu's Talent!
The next morning, after breakfast, Su Nian looked at Su Yu, who was dressed casually, and asked with a suspicious expression, "Aren't you supposed to wear your school uniform to school?"
"I told the teacher about the situation yesterday. From now on, I don't have to wear the uniform," Su Yu said, reaching out to pinch the handsome face of the man before her, smiling mischievously. "What? You have a problem with that?"
Su Nian frowned, feeling something was odd. But seeing the sweet smile on this beautiful woman’s face, catching the faint scent of her subtle perfume, and feeling the tingling touch on his own face, he couldn’t help but reach out and wrap his arm around her slender waist. He stared at her cheeks instantly flushed with embarrassment and teased, "Before you leave..."
"A little encouragement?"
"To give me some motivation to earn some extra money?"
Su Yu’s bright eyes dodged, but she could feel the tightening grip around her waist and the unmistakably aggressive gaze from the man. She gently placed her hands on his shoulders and obediently stood on tiptoe.
After a while, Su Nian watched Su Yu’s back as she moved toward the entrance like a docile kitten and couldn’t help but think to himself: So soft! No... that’s not right! She’s really well-behaved! This isn’t some tsundere girl at all—she’s clearly a hidden treasure.
"I'm off now. I'll make you something delicious when I get back tonight!" Su Yu said as she put on her shoes, turning to wave at him.
"Will it be as delicious as you?" he teased.
"Pfft, you’re so inappropriate!"
"You pervert!"
Su Yu only dared to scold him like that just before leaving. As for why she didn’t scold him at home? Well... what if she made him angry and he pulled out the Siberian python from the tropical rainforest to deal with her? What if she really got hurt then?
Watching Su Yu's retreating figure after the playful scolding, Su Nian shook his head helplessly. Returning to his bedroom, he went straight into the virtual room.

Today was an important day for him! But little did Su Nian know...
After leaving, Su Yu did not head to school as usual. Instead, she took a completely different path.
***
About ten minutes later.
At the front desk of the Star Rain Club in Hang City.
“Hello, I’m the interpreter you hired yesterday for on-site translation. Where should I go?” Su Yu asked softly.
The receptionist smiled kindly and pointed to a corner on the right. “Turn right here, the third room is the reception room. You can wait there for a bit; someone will come find you soon.”
“Okay, thank you!” Su Yu nodded and walked toward the reception room, curiously glancing around.
She had secretly taken leave to work as an interpreter and had no intention of telling Su Nian. More accurately, she dared not tell him. Even though the money she earned was probably just a drop in the bucket compared to the surgery costs... she couldn’t bear to watch the man she cared about exhaust himself on her behalf.
“Hey, little sister, are you new here? I haven’t seen you before,” came a somewhat childish female voice.
Su Yu was startled. She looked toward the source—a petite girl about 1.5 meters tall, with delicate features and short white hair just above her ears. Confused, Su Yu asked, “Me?”
The girl, with ample curves oddly mismatched to her small frame, frowned and said, “Yeah, little sister, are you an adult yet? You look like you’re only sixteen or seventeen. Our club doesn’t employ child labor!”
Su Yu felt her head spinning. Wait... who’s the little sister here? And why does she talk like a little adult?
“Boss, just now an employee in the company awakened an A-level talent in the game. Look...” A middle-aged man in a suit came out from the nearby ‘virtual room’ and handed a document to the curvy girl.
She waved him off casually. “Take him off his original post and sign him with a monthly salary of a hundred thousand.”
“Yes, ma’am!” The man nodded, then called out to the waiting room across the hall, “Next round of talent tests coming up! And the young guys at the gates, don’t leave—come test your talents first!”
A dozen or so people marched into the virtual room.
Su Yu’s gaze toward the ‘little sister’ changed. Quickly, she straightened up and said, “Boss, I’m here as the club’s on-site interpreter, and I’m an adult. Here’s my ID!”
Su Yu obediently handed over her ID.

The woman glanced at it and nodded. “There are foreign players here for trials today. Didn’t expect you just turned eighteen and already became an interpreter?”
Suddenly, she seemed to remember something and looked curiously at Su Yu, who was just as pretty as she was. “Have you awakened any talents?”
“Talents?” Su Yu tilted her head. “You mean in ‘Divine Realm’?”
Since this game had just launched a day ago and exploded in popularity worldwide, anyone going online would have heard about it, including Su Yu.
“That’s right!” The woman nodded. “If you haven’t awakened any talents yet, go ahead and try. If you can awaken a B-level talent, a monthly salary of ten thousand is no problem!”
“Okay!” Su Yu agreed immediately.
Although she didn’t think she’d be lucky enough to awaken a B-level talent, let alone a higher A-level one, she figured there was no harm in trying.
***
After some time.
Su Yu came out of the virtual room.
She hurried over to the little boss sitting in the reception room, enjoying her morning tea, and asked, “Boss, can I ask...”
“Is an S-level talent very powerful?”
“Pfft!”
The moment Su Yu finished speaking, the woman suddenly spat out the tea she was about to swallow upon hearing “S-level talent”!
Wiping her mouth, ignoring the wet documents on the table, she turned to Su Yu in disbelief. “What did you say, little sister? You awakened an S-level talent?”
Su Yu nodded blankly. “Yes, I have one S-level, and two D-level ones I didn’t choose.”
The woman’s eyes widened. She put down her teacup and leaned toward Su Yu, her eyes sparkling. “Really S-level? You’re not lying? Can you tell me what the talent does?”
Su Yu thought for a moment. “I think it’s called something like ‘Soul’... but I don’t really understand those attributes or percentages the game talks about.”
Upon hearing this, the woman grabbed Su Yu’s arm and smiled brightly. “It’s okay if you don’t understand. Come on, let’s get into the game. I’ll teach you!”
“But I still have to interpret...” Su Yu protested.
“Interpret, schminterpret. The boss allows you to get paid while gaming! From now on, in Divine Realm, I’ve got your back!”
