A few clear, youthful voices rang out, and the family of three looked bewildered for a moment before they finally remembered—there were still three sons in this household!

The eldest was Lin Wenyan, the second Lin Yanbei, and the third Lin Beitao.

The three brothers were all currently working at a restaurant in town.

“Hey, where are they?”

“They’re probably in little sister’s room.”

Lin Hongda and Liao Xiashu hurried out to greet them. Lin Sangqian also jumped off the bed, but was immediately struck by a wave of dizziness.

It seemed this body was very weak.

She remembered that she’d been attending a medical conference abroad when she received news of her father’s death.

Lin Hongda, a master of Taekwondo, had opened a Taekwondo school. One day, a few people came to challenge the school; when Lin Hongda faced them, they realized they couldn’t win and resorted to dirty tricks, stabbing Lin Hongda in the back.

Perhaps not realizing their own strength, those men caused Lin Hongda to die from excessive blood loss.

Before boarding her flight, Lin Sangqian received another blow: her mother, Liao Xiashu, was killed in a car accident on the way to the hospital. Overwhelmed with grief, she could only blame herself for not being by her parents’ side at such a time.

As fate would have it, the plane she boarded also crashed…

What she never expected was that all three of them, mother, father, and daughter, would be transported together—into the bodies of another family of three, sharing the same names and appearances.

Perhaps this was Heaven’s will.

Now, she even had a few bonus brothers.

When Lin Sangqian stepped out of her room, she saw Lin Hongda and Liao Xiashu embracing their three sons, rubbing and fussing over them nonstop.

“Oh, this is the eldest!”

“This is the second son?”

“The third! How adorable!”

The two parents were simply overjoyed. They had always wanted a son but had never been blessed with one—now, suddenly, they had three!

It wasn’t that they valued sons over daughters; they’d simply longed for both. Sons and daughters were equally cherished by them.

“Father, Mother, what’s gotten into you?” The youngest, Lin Beitao, barely managed to escape Liao Xiashu’s “clutches,” asking in confusion.

Though their mother was always kind to them, it had never been quite to this extent.

As for their drunkard father… what had gotten into him today?

Lin Wenyan also disentangled himself from Lin Hongda, leaving the parents to dote on the second son, Lin Yanbei.

“Help…” Lin Yanbei murmured helplessly.

“How strange,” Lin Beitao muttered, and then, catching sight of Lin Sangqian, he ran over with a wide grin. “Little sister! Look what your third brother brought you!”

With that, he reached into his pocket.

Lin Sangqian stared at him in a daze. In the original host’s memory, these three brothers had always doted on her. Whenever they got something nice, she was the first person they thought of.

Unfortunately, since they worked in town, they could only return home two or three times a month.

Because there was nothing to eat at home, and the original Lin Hongda was a drunkard who spent his days drinking and carousing, while both the mother and daughter’s bodies were frail, after starving for two or three days, they died.

Her three brothers probably didn’t yet realize their father, mother, and little sister had all been replaced…

But it didn’t matter. Since Heaven had given their family this second chance, from now on, they would be a family.

“Little sister, look!”

Lin Beitao pulled out a round paper packet, which, when opened, revealed a small sugar cake.

“This is just for you—quick, eat it!”

At the sight of the sugar cake, Lin Sangqian’s hunger surged, and Lin Hongda and Liao Xiashu also rubbed their stomachs.

“Qianqian, hurry and eat. Isn’t sugar cake your favorite?” Lin Wenyan said with a smile. “Your third brother kept it tucked in his pocket the whole way, just so it wouldn’t get cold.”

“Hehe.” Lin Beitao scratched his head, but just then, his stomach let out a loud, unmistakable growl.

The room fell silent.

“Third brother, you’re hungry. You eat it,” Lin Sangqian said, “sensible” as ever.

After all, with the soul of a woman in her twenties, she would never compete with a teenage child for food.

“Qianqian, I’m not hungry. You eat!” Lin Beitao hastily shoved the sugar cake into her hands.

“Ahem, uh, wife—no, mother of my children! Since everyone’s hungry, why don’t you cook?” Lin Hongda said.

“Yes, yes, I should cook!” Liao Xiashu agreed. Relying on her memory, she found the rice jar, but when she lifted the lid—

It was empty.

The flour jar was the same. She searched all over but couldn’t find a single thing to eat in the house!

Liao Xiashu was so anxious she nearly started to smoke from her scalp. Clearly, the original host’s memories of their family’s poverty were accurate.

“Mother, is there no food in the house again?” Lin Wenyan said, dejected. “It’s our fault… we’re just not capable enough…”

“That’s not it—it’s our boss who’s heartless!” Lin Yanbei said angrily. “This month’s wages are still being withheld! Every day, all we get to eat is cornbread and pickles…”

“Second brother, enough.” Lin Beitao said bitterly. At least they had cornbread and pickles to eat; who knew how mother and little sister were managing at home?

Really, it was all their drunkard father’s fault!

Lin Beitao shot Lin Hongda an angry glare.

Lin Hongda seemed to realize something and coughed awkwardly. “Um, kids, why don’t you head back to your rooms and rest? Your mother, your sister, and I have something to discuss.”

“What are you planning? You’re not going to hit mother and little sister again, are you?” Lin Wenyan frowned.

“Of course not!” Lin Hongda replied quickly. “Am I that kind of person?”

It was all the fault of the damned original host! Once, coming home to look for drinking money and finding none, he’d lost his temper and struck his wife and daughter.

When the three sons found out, they were so furious they shook with rage. If it weren’t for the parental bond, they might have beaten the original host themselves.

In fact, even Lin Hongda wanted to beat the original host—how could anyone strike their wife and child? They were meant to be cherished!

Fortunately, the original host hadn’t completely lost his conscience; after that incident, he hadn’t raised his hand again.

“Hmph, I’d like to see you try!” Lin Beitao snorted, and the three brothers returned to their own room to rest.

Lin Hongda hurriedly pulled his wife and daughter back into Lin Sangqian’s room and whispered, “Wife, daughter, we need to figure out what to do next.”

“Since we’re here now, we have to find a way to live well,” Lin Sangqian said.

“I’m about to faint from hunger,” Liao Xiashu said weakly. “Big Dog, Little Dog, I think our first order of business is to figure out where to find something to eat.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a scene suddenly appeared before Lin Sangqian’s eyes—a huge warehouse filled with rice, flour, oil, and every kind of ingredient imaginable.
